Guidelines for Support Crews

Cheering is allowed and even encouraged!

In trail running, cheering is an essential part of the event atmosphere. Encouragement along the course can give runners that extra boost they need on a long journey. A smile, applause, a cheer, or even a sign by the trail can make a runner’s day so much better.

Supporters are warmly welcome to follow the race and help create a great vibe. Please remember to cheer safely: give runners space to move, choose safe spots to cheer, and follow the organizers’ instructions.

Thank you for helping make the event unforgettable for everyone! 💚

Results & Live Tracking

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I track a runner during the race?

Once the event starts, a Live Results section will appear on the event homepage and social media channels, where you can follow each runner’s progress. Every official aid station is equipped with timing mats that record when a runner enters and leaves the aid station. The timing system also provides an estimated arrival time for the next aid station and the finish line. Please note that these estimates are based on the runner’s pace at previous checkpoints and may change throughout the race.

If the runner is carrying a GPS tracking device, you will also be able to follow their live GPS track through the Live Results service.

Where am I allowed to support a runner?

You may support your runner only at the event’s official aid stations. Please check the aid stations for your runner’s race distance on this page. Please note that supporting runners between official aid stations is not permitted.

How do I get to the aid stations?

At the top of this page, you’ll find the section “Runner Support, Crew Access & Aid Stations.” There you can find the address and access information for each official aid station.

My runner has withdrawn from the race. What should I do?

Please make sure the runner’s withdrawal has been reported to the race headquarters by calling +358 40 6605 281. If the runner requires medical assistance, you can also request first aid by calling the same number.

Can I stay at an aid station while waiting for my runner?

Yes, you are welcome to wait at an aid station. Please note that the aid station tents and food provided are reserved exclusively for registered runners. Many of the aid stations are located in remote areas within the national park and can be challenging to access. Please keep this in mind when planning your crew support during the event.
