Return Transportation for 66 km Participants from Pallastunturi to Äkäslompolo and Ylläsjärvi
Return transportation for 66 km participants from the finish area at Pallastunturi to Ylläs is arranged with shuttle buses, and it is included in the participation fee. Buses will depart once they are full unless the next bus arrives sooner. The buses will operate between approximately 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM. In Äkäslompolo, you may need to switch buses to continue to Ylläsjärvi.
The last buses of the night will wait for all runners, so wait times may be longer than earlier in the evening. Plan wisely: pack some snacks and a change of clothes in your drop bag. The travel time from Pallastunturi to Äkäslompolo is about an hour.
Free Ylläsjärvi–Äkäslompolo shuttle bus on Saturday:
On Saturday, the shuttle bus will run between the event center in Äkäslompolo and the Lapland Hotels Saaga near the Ylläsjärvi aid station from 10 am to 6 pm. You can leave your car at the cottage without worry! No ticket is needed for the bus, just hop on!
The bus will run back and forth and pick up passengers from all stops along the route:
