NUTS Kids & Juniors

In connection with NUTS Ylläs Pallas, we’re once again hosting a fun and easy-entry trail-running event for children and young people! All kids and youths—of any age and skill level—are welcome to join these joyful outdoor races full of fun and movement. Come enjoy yourself and challenge your limits!

EVENT LOCATION

NUTS Kids & Juniors Ylläs will take place once again on Thursday, 16 July 2026! The start and finish areas are located in Äkäslompolo. The route offers just the right amount of challenge for both tiny feet and speedy runners!

Schedule

12:00 Bib pick-up opens at the bib distribution tent in the expo area
13:00 2.5 km start – Start 1: “less is enough”
14:00 5 km start – Start 2: “we’re still going”

Routes

The route is marked with orange flag markers and blue arrow signs. There will also be course marshals guiding participants at intersections and other key points.

Categories/Starts

Start 1: “less is enough” – approx. 2.5 km
Start 2: “we’re still going!” – approx. 5 km

All cheerful participants will receive a personal bib number for timing, and after finishing the route, a race keepsake as well as a drink and a small snack from the aid station. At NUTS Kids & Juniors events, everyone is a winner—there are no placement-based awards.
